Our marquee hire offers the look of a traditional marquee, without any of the drawbacks. We offer detailed marquee design tailored to your event, and can offer furniture, lighting, interior and exterior decoration and extras such as heating, luxury toilets and generators.
Bakerwood Marquees - building where others can’t.
The advantage of using a Bakerwood structure is that it allows you to make almost any size or shape you require. Our framed structures come in widths of 3, 6, 10 and 15m, making them easily adaptable to cover up to 30m widths for a large scale event. Lengths can then be increased in 3m increments.
We offer unique designs including shaped ends, ten sided structures, L-shaped plans, split-level flooring, covered walkways and verandas.

Our unique flooring system can turn an undulating or sloping surface into a perfect level space, we can build marquees on more complex surfaces allowing you to use that special spot you had in mind.
Using a laser we check the ground levels of your chosen site to find the optimum position for your event allowing us the calculate accurately the height of your floor.

We get asked many questions about our marquees. If any of your questions are not answered below please get in touch.
How much is it all going to cost?
Until we know your exact requirements it’s often difficult to provide a price. Once we have surveyed your site and produced a layout proposal, we can then provide you with a comprehensive quotation and scale 2D & 3D drawings with projected views. Wherever possible we always encourage prospective clients to come and visit an existing marquee.
How long does it take to build?
At Bakerwood we are not into “last minute”. We really want you to have a stress free and enjoyable experience. We tend to start the marquee build up to 7 days before your event where conditions allow. As an example a marquee for a Saturday wedding for 120 guests, we would start to build on the Tuesday and be finished by the Wednesday night, however this still gives our team the Thursday as a buffer day in case of bad weather or missing items, this allows the client and catering team to decorate and set tables on the Friday. Larger or more complex structures usually take 2-5 working days.
What ancillary services do Bakerwood provide?
Although we can provide our clients with most items needed for your event, we do not provide toilets or generators ourselves but work closely with trusted suppliers who we can liaise with on the clients behalf. We only deal with reliable suppliers and we can coordinate the delivery and installation of these items.
What type of marquee interiors do you offer?
We can create a modern or traditional look for your marquee. For a modern look we offer our clear roof and clear window marquee design, and additions such as our white star cloth ceiling and our classic white dance floor. For the more traditional look, we can dress our marquee interiors with white or cream linings, with additions such as traditional arched windows and our parquet dance floor.
Can I expand or reduce the size of the Marquee if required?
Yes, we only need to know final numbers the week before, up to that point you can reduce or increase your number of guests which may impact either way on the size of your marquee.
What type of furniture and extras can you provide?
We can provide all types of furniture for your event including tables (round, trestle, oval, coffee), chairs in modern and more traditional styles, sofas, garden furniture, bars and staging. We can also provide lighting for your event such as chandeliers and pinspots, up-lights, flood lighting, fairy lights and glitter balls.
